I came across this artist by accident the other day. Some of his pieces in which he uses just ball point pens are really stunning. I like the graduation between the translucent colours and the intense mass of dark ink.

Lost in Lace // Birmingham

Nostalgia
This is from an interesting blog I found, made up of images like this sent in by people from all over the world.
The images are so striking because they seem to simply represent the complex relationship we have between the photos we take and our memories. Each photo comes with a small piece of text, often about lost times or lost people.
It reminded me of the quote about a photograph being like a 'little slice of death'.
